Karen DeMichele brings over twenty four years experience in strategic business planning and development in the staffing industry to Savvy Staffing Solutions. She has a proven track record of achievement in leading start-up, turnaround and high growth organizations through explosive market growth and unprecedented profitability. Karen’s possesses an intuitive understanding of leadership roles, sales training and development, application selling, and customer relationship management.
One of Karen’s major strengths lies in her capability for new business development. She oversees the planning, staffing and development for many highly visible and profitable organizations. A hands-on executive, Karen effectively hires, trains and supervises multiple high-impact sales teams in account acquisitions and management. Her impressive management style, along with her deal making expertise and professional market analysis, has made her a highly respected leader within the Massachusetts staffing industry.
Karen’s background spans a variety of staffing positions, from outside sales professional to CEO. In 1985 she joined New Boston Temps, and held several positions in the agency, moving quickly into key senior management roles. She was instrumental in the growth, development and expansion of New Boston Temps. In 2000, Karen left her role as Divisional President of New Boston (which had by then been acquired by Vedior, NA) to start Savvy Staffing Solutions. Savvy Staffing Solutions merged with Staff U Smart in 2005 to form S&S Staffing, LLC.
Charlene MacNeil
COO/Managing Partner
Charlene MacNeil’s experience in the staffing industry has spanned all areas: sales, recruiting, marketing, operations, business development, and executive level management. For over fifteen years Charlene has been instrumental in developing and implementing successful business and staffing programs. In addition to a strong history of full P&L responsibility at branch, regional, and divisional levels, she excels at creating operationally robust environments geared to foster business profitability and growth.
She is also responsible for staff development. Charlene has a proven record of melding sales and operational business aspects to create, mentor, and develop teams at the branch and divisional levels. It is this continued success that has helped Charlene become such a vital force in the staffing industry. Her industry experience includes hands-on experience in traditional staffing (clerical, light industrial, professional, and technical) as well as permanent placement and educational staffing.
In 2002, Charlene left her position as Divisional Manager of Vedior, NA’s New Boston Select Staffing Division to create Staff U Smart. Staff U Smart merged with Savvy Staffing Solutions in 2005.
